soft and warm
I purchased this scarf in both black and grey for an upcoming trip. The scarf is soft, warm and can be used as coverage for the flight. Using the oversized scarf as a scarf created a very large assessor on your neck but if versatility and warmth is the goal then this is the scarf for you. Would recommend

A Beautiful, Soft Scarf!!!
I can wear it in many different ways throughout the year. It's oversized and very soft!!! I ordered the beautiful Lavender color. I love it, love it and love it.

very stylish
I bought the gray one first, and I liked it so much that I also purchased 2 more in black and beige as well. I love them so much. It goes well with over sized sweaters or any kinds of jackets.

One of my favorite cashmeres
I'm (almost) embarrassed to admit how many cashmere wrap/shawls I own - 14, I think? In any case, I have this particular shawl in 6 colors and it's one of my favorites. It's soft and just the right thickness - perfect for a wrap on a plane or in a cold room - but still works as a scarf with a coat or an elegant alternative to a coat for cool evenings. I always take at least one in my carry-on bag when I travel and usually I'm debating at the last minute if I should take two colors. I started with basic black a few years ago and have added other colors as they came out in later years. Another reviewer commented on shedding. I haven't had that particular problem, except when wearing one of the light colors with dark jeans and using it as a "blanket." I would not hesitate to recommend this to others!

My third purchase in this style
After nearly wearing out the discontinued Bella Rose scarf (sadly, with help from some hungry moths), which I purchased in Autumn 2017, I picked up the Ice Grey Heather shawl with the Donegal flecks and then the Amethyst Stone. These are the biggest scarves I have ever worn. I'd call them shawls (more like a small blanket, really). I have not found a cashmere scarf that I like better. Lightweight yet densely knit and warm, I can wrap one around my body and ward off all chills. I love that I can double wrap around my neck. I have worn just this shawl over a wool cardigan outside in below-freezing temps and felt perfectly warm. The knit is springy. If I stuff one in my handbag and pull it out later, the wrinkles shake right out. None of mine have pilled or shed, and the edges don't curl inward. I now wear the well-worn Bella Rose around the house from fall through spring and even to bed. SO soft! I am kicking myself for missing the lovely taupe color that was sold last season.

Cannot live without it
This muffler---it is a muffler, not a wrap---is lightweight but super warm. The length is perfect: it can be wrapped a couple of times for warmth or left hanging for a breezy look--or wrapped as a shawl. It can be rolled and stored in handbag, without adding any weight. In black, it is very chic. I bought it to replace one much more expensive that lost, and I am very happy with it. One defect: it had a sizable white label that not only looked hideous against the black, but made it look cheap. It cost me some money to have it removed professionally, as if I had done it myself, I would have damaged the piece. This is cashmere---should have been presented as such--even if the price was a great value. It's your private label: you should respect it.
