Very nice coat but no hood!!!

I bought this coat in Macy's more than a year ago. I was impressed by how light and efficient it was. It also came with a light hood concealed in the collar. I used the hood during windy and rainy weather. Last week, by mistake, I left that coat at an airport terminal and I was very disappointed. I ordered and picked up the same coat in Macy's two days ago. Upon inspection, I found that although the coat looks and feels exactly like the older one, it does not have a hood. Because of the missing hood, I feel the utility of the coat is halved. I will be returning to Macy's this new coat.

Very Light and Warm

It took me about three months to review this item. First of all, It keeps me very warm at 35 degrees F and up. Its very light and can be fold to fit inside a Carryon. I gave 3 stars to this review because lots feathers are coming out of the Jackets which messes up my Car seats and some of my clothes from the inside. Overall, It keeps you very warm and its indeed lightweight.

Excellent product

I purchased this coat during a sale. Outstanding coat for the $’s. Only issue is that a small amount of down feathers come out. Certainly a non issue compared to the coat itself. I wore it on a 29 degree day with just a button down shirt and a hat. I was very very comfortable. I’ve only had it for two weeks but wore it about five or six times. So far it’s been great. Too early to make a judgment on quality.

Best Packable Jacket

I bought this jacket for my father for Christmas. He wears this as a shirt under his snowmobile jacket when sledding in the Adirondacks. Lightweight and so perfectly thin that his sled group has also bought them. Pack up small and fits in the sled compartment easily. Who woulda guessed?

Great light jacket

My husband has this jacket in charcoal color and loves it so I bought one for my son. Only thing I was a bit disappointed about is the picture of the jacket specs says it has a hidden hood, which isn’t true. They need to correct this information in the write-up, but otherwise the warmth and lightness of the jacket is great and it looks good too.
