The Viking universal steamer insert fits most Viking 2, 3, and 4-quart saucepans. It will also fit most standard 6.25", 7" and 8" diameter 16 centimeter, 18 centimeter and 20 centimeter saucepans and casseroles, turning them into steamers for vegetables, dumplings, fish and more. Constructed from surgical grade 18, 8 stainless steel, the Viking steamer is non-reactive and will not react with acidic foods. The strainer doubles as a colander for straining and washing foods before and after cooking. The Viking universal steamer features riveted cast stainless steel handles for comfort, balance and control. Oven, grill and dishwasher safe.
